That's the talk at the moment. I'm hearing Kanter may need to report for practice by August 16th .. which dictated the 15th drop-dead date. Calipari knows UK fans want Enes to wear a UK jersey and play on television.
 
You may be right. There are some challenges. However, Kanter, UK, and Kanter's camp all want it to happen .. those reasons, too, should be obvious.
 
I would assume that reppping his country is just a tad more important than playing a meaningless game for th ky faithful. Yep the world is bigger than rupp arena, really iknow prolly hard for most cat fans to grasp.
 
First off, it's not an either/or thing at this point .. UK is trying to get the game to happen in time .. not trying to have Enes play it instead of the euro-ball.
Secondly, you're going to have to hate a lot more than that to get my attention .. my skin is ultra thick due to the many, many decades of having to endure following the most successful bb program in history, lol.

Now begins the tired untruth's about Calipari, UK, whatever .. have at it. Keep on hatin'.

Unfortunately looking like it's not going to work out getting Kanter onto this August 15th game. Rumored to have Horford and Villanueva playing for the Dominican team .. would have been nice to see Kanter play against them .. even in an exhibition type game.

FWIW, also supposed to have Francisco Garcia playing for the Domincan team. The 'UK Pros' has commitments from John Wall, Rajon Rondo, Eric Bledsoe, Jodie Meeks, Keith Bogans, Tayshaun Prince, Demarcus Cousins, and Nazr Mohammed. Still hoping to see them work it out for Enes.
