What's new

Favors can jump really high and has really long arms!

https://hoopdata.com/teamshotlocs.aspx
the highest any team shot from 10-15 feet last year was 45.5% with the average being 39.3%

if favors can shoot from midrange around 45%ish and improve his ft % to the 70 mark range i think it will be a big success, especially considering how raw he is now.

and yes every player should have the potential to shoot 70% from the ft line.
but history shows that most players do not improve their free throw shooting as much as other parts of the game. 50 years and ft % has barely changed while fg% and 3pt% have sky rocketed.

note that only karl and the dream improved their ft% from their rookie year.

my point is, i think favors actually has the drive to reach his potential, unlike so many.

Because the rules about taking foul shots hasn't changed since the beginning of Basketball. You still stand at a line 15 ft away from a 10ft tall hoop. You have 10 seconds to shoot it, and make it. Rules have been changed that impact defense though, which effects FG%.

Is your favorite thing to do during the day to come on here and nitpick everyone's posts?

Yes, its called being locked out. I'm also taking part of a medical study currently that I have to stay inside a lab for days at a time. This is what I do to pass the time. It won't last much longer though, dont worry.

And he can jump really far. In some of these clips he's entering the frame already in the air. And did you see that move past Amar'e? Physically he reminds me of Stromile Swift but he's already a better player than SS. He could be very special in this league.

How many of these medical studies are you planning on doing? Seems like this isn't your first.

No, I'm in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. It's a metabolism study. I'm only allowed to eat terrible food and lay in bed for 12 days at a time. Almost done though.

Its been going on for a while. Its over the course of 2.5 months, with 25 days of overnight stays. Getting paid 5k (tax free).

5k for 2.5 months around the clock? That's terrible. Is this what you do for a living?
