Yeah, I'd much rather have Bojan. Have 0 worries about rebounding. But what about Ingles + Gordon?
I am somewhat concerned that Bojan/Ingles at the 4 and their lack of rebounding will get gameplanned and exploited in the playoffs.

I guess I didn’t state that my primary concern is the defense - particularly in the context of the playoffs where teams key-in on soft spots - and that rebounding is an additional concern. I would trade some regular-season shine for playoff steel because I can see the Jazz being exploitable.Yeah, I'd much rather have Bojan. Have 0 worries about rebounding.
Is Aaron Gordon a better defender than Bojan though?I guess I didn’t state that my primary concern is the defense - particularly in the context of the playoffs where teams key-in on soft spots - and that rebounding is an additional concern. The rebounding discrepancy between Gordon and Bojan is answered by Gordon having more opportunity for rebounds because of clanking more shots. Is Aaron Gordon a better defender than Bojan though?
He probably is. Just hard for me to know to what degree since I dont watch enough of either to really say. I do know that Bojan is like galaxies better as a shooter and scorer and that's the most important thing for the Jazz.
If rebounding and defense were our primary concern at the 4, then we would have kept Favors.I guess I didn’t state that my primary concern is the defense - particularly in the context of the playoffs where teams key-in on soft spots - and that rebounding is an additional concern. People don’t forget that. This is a dynamic sport, and Gordon is one of the most dynamic players in the game. He’s not the world’s best shooter or scorer (he’s not the world’s best anything) but he’s several tiers above Favors in his perimeter skills (he can shoot a basketball, he can drive). If rebounding and defense were our primary concern at the 4, then we would have kept Favors.
We lost to Houston because our offense was pathetic. I think people forget that.
Much, if only for physical ability. The list of players that can keep up with anyone on the perimeter and block shots on the weak side is very short. I think this is a huge issue in the playoffs when bigs usually get game planned off the floor which leaves the rim wide-open. The Jazz have been on the wrong-side of that strategy in their last three eliminations, and that is a big part of my interest in Gordon. Is Aaron Gordon a better defender than Bojan though?
my body is ready
Go to the 2:51 mark and look where Rubio and Favors defenders are lol
Also 5:40! holy sh** Houston did not give 2 fu*** about Rubio taking 3's. I did not fully realize how bad this was
I look forward to Houston having to respect Conley and Bojan's 3 and there not being 4-5 guys in the paint every time Mitchell drives
Listening to Locke talk about how good Conley is as a spot up shooter made me tingle all over my body. I already knew how good Bojan is. I’m ready for this **** to start.
