Bojan vs Hayward

I haven't seen enough of Bogey to really say, but if their play-making ability is a basic push, I think Bogey's superior shooting is probably more of a plus over 82 games than Hayward's superior defense.

Hayward's a better playmaker but I expect Bojan's playmaking to improve in Quins offense.

I agree that he was in 2017. I think they are a lot closer after Bogey's post-Oladipo run last year.

But maybe Hayward returns to form this year.

That version of Haywood required him to be featured. Heywood will never be featured like that again on a winning team. Hell, we replaced him with a rookie "featured" in the same manner and didn't miss a beat.

Contract Killer vs Wet Willie Victim?

Is this a real question?

I imagine west going to deliver the wet willie to Bojan and him grabbing his finger, delivering a throat punch, and standing over a terrified Delonte... He doesn’t kill him but west lives the rest of his life in fear.

Fixed it for you. ;)

The Gordo thing is a little tired. We dodged a bullet there now that we have Bojan. Bojan is a better fit with this group imo... also his contract value is better and allowed us to have time for Conley too.

If we didn’t have Bojan though... Gordon, even in his declined state would fit really well. I don’t feel bad for him but I’m sure he regrets his decision at this point. I think he ends up coming off the bench this year for a middle of the pack eastern conference team. Can’t be what he had in mind.

You don't think he starts at the 4? I haven't kept up with Boston's moves, but they lost Morris.

Morris is your new Niko...

They start Kemba, Tatum, Brown, and likely Kanter (bwah ha ha ha ha) the fifth starter is either Gordon as a 4 or Smart as kinda a 2. That lineup likely needs Smart's defense. Having a prime defender like Marcus come off the bench seems like a waste (since most guys you want a stopper on are starters).

So do they bench Tatum or Brown? Brown is a free agent, is going through contract negotiations right now on an extension. Tatum is extension eligible. They have both been in trade rumors forever... and Danny couldn't nab a star. So they likely get re-signed... but what if they are benched for the golden boy?

I think Gordon is likely the odd man out but could also see Smart or Brown coming off the bench, but it might cause more disfunction. One of the reasons players were not happy was all the efforts that went into getting Hayward going. I think there is like a 40% chance he's a starter.

The rookie helped, but it was a collective effort, with Ingles taking on a much bigger role flawlessly.
