Any country that aids Trump can expect to be rewarded — with foreign aid (Ukraine), a more generous trade deal (China) or an invitation to rejoin the Group of Seven (Russia).

Republicans, the ones who know Trump is nuts but were in it for the tax cuts or to get reelected or because they were convinced they could have made things better. If that course of action were intellectually and morally sustainable, they would not be literally hiding from the press or pretending they had not read the most eye-popping news in recent memory.

And yet they are hiding and hoping — hoping for what? That this will all blow over?

Lol a bunch of Democrats that's sole purpose since day one is to get Trump impeached find something "breathtaking". I find 3 years, millions of dollars and absolutely nothing breathtaking bit that's just my common sense talking.

I also find absolutely doing nothing to help Americans breathtaking. Democrats sole purpose in life is to bow down to Trump and obsess about him.

Can anyone here tell me with 100% honesty what having an addiction to Trump is like? I've never in my life been as obsessive as you all are over anything so I'm curious. How many hours a day does he live in your head? I wake up and it's 6 am and he's in your heads. I follow this thread and every second of every day Trump is impacting your thoughts.

I can't answer you since I'm not addicted to Trump at all. I don't even follow politics.
I just spend a lot of time on jazzfanz while at work. You seem to post in these threads about as much as most of us.
Jazzfanz passes the time for me when I'm pooping or peeing or on break at work or when it's slow at work.
I don't have Twitter or Instagram or Snapchat or tinder or any other social media apps or whatever so I spend my time on jazzfanz and these Trump threads seem to be the most popular ones to conversate in right now so that's where I'm at. When the jazz games start I will post in Trump threads less often.

When I'm not at work I don't really even post on jazzfanz and trump never enters my head at all.

I think it was kickyass that mentioned the vocal reps aren't going to change. Between being too proud to admit they're wrong, and having something to lose, they're gonna be behind the wall when it falls.

It's the silent ones we need to talk and communicate with.

Since it is the voters that are running this whole show, and since it is voters who have gotten us where we are now, and since there is little evidence that voters are going to change their current opinions, relaxing for many may be a little difficult for the next year.

We pretend we are a moral people, but our government has always been a representation of what we really are - a nationalistic people whose worst instincts come to the surface when power is obtained or when self-interest is threatened. We get the government we deserve. This is what we deserve.

A trump appointee made a criminal referral, over the phone and in a letter to the justice department citing the whistleblower complaint.

How much more do you need to start a full investigation? Video of him spoonfeeding Ukraine president, and stopping to say not until you get dirt on my next opponent?

Maybe a document, notarized and signed by 5 of 8 Supreme Court Justices, 4 or 5 of his buddies in the background, and his grandma in the background confirming its him with two forms of picture ID?

What about the part where the Ukraine president said it didn't happen? Completely forget about that part don't ya? This is nothing more than being mad 3+ later that the Democrats lost. A bunch of poor sport children who know that the only way they can win is by impeachment. Sadly if that were not the case Democrats would be doing their jobs.

I meant we may as well relax over impeachment since the outcomes in both the House and Senate are pretty well set to go down along partisan lines. That all should happen sometime this winter and then we can worry for real about the actual election where the outcome is more uncertain. Still, all in all, I’m fairly optimistic about 2020, in part, because I don’t put the blame for 2016 all on voters. We were given two terrible candidates. I expect Warren to be a stronger and less polarizing candidate than Clinton and a choice undecided voters can actually feel positive about voting for rather than agonizing over the lesser of two evils.
