Campaigning for president, no matter the party or the candidate, is always more about showing voters where your heart is at rather than specific policy details. Warren is just letting Democratic primary voters know what she would like to happen in an abstract, best of all possible worlds. Actual legislation has to be worked out after the election and will be as dependent on the make up of the Senate as it is who gets elected president.

You will have to ask her.
The fact is that no one can just come into office and implement their plan. We have branches of government that plans have to go through first. It has to be voted on.

That's why I'm always telling people that they don't need to be scared that their guns will be taken away and they don't need to be scared of socialism. A single person (Trump, Warren, etc) can't just take your guns away and can't just put socialism in place.


She might want to do what it is that you think she wants to do but she won't be able to. She will run into resistance at some point within her own government.


Sadly, even if someone (Dem or repub) had a perfect idea that would benefit literally every single American regardless of party then that idea would still be met with a ton of resistance cause if it were a Democrat who came up with the great idea then the Republicans would have to try to stop it so that the Democrats don't a win and don't get credit. And vice versa.

Exactly. Socialism is nothing to be afraid of. I have been saying this all along. Even if the president wants socialism, they can't just put in place.

That's why I don't vote based off of plans or policies or promises. That's all ******** and unlikely to come to fruition anyway.

Trump took the warmongering route. There wasn't a war. Then Trump made a decision that caused a war to begin.

I said the exact same thing about "Mexico will pay for it" and was chastised by most posters here.

Our government can't even budget what we have now. How can they budget 50+ trillion? What happens to healthcare, schooling if we run out of money?
