He's been shooting well and his athleticism is standing out a bit. He's getting where he wants to on the floor and making plays. Zero assists last game though.

Stars down by 9 at half. Brantley in double figures, JWF with 9. Stars were up by 1 with about 6 minutes in the half and Mike Scott was put in at point guard and he was absolutely torched by RGV's point guard Angel Rodriquez. At times he would get beat by Rodriquez and the resultant carnage was brutal. Both JWF and Howard had some nice really long 3s.

Stars win by one. Oni turned the game around in the 3rd quarter. Brantley, JWF, Morgan, Oni and Howard leading scorers. Howard played like a boss. After being abused in the first half Mike Scott came in the 4th quarter and got six points, a couple of assists and a steal. Another guy that looked good was Trevion Bluett.
I'm glad Trevion didn't blow it.

Last night Howard did not miss a shot and finished the game playing center.
Brantley has the body and enough skills to be an impact player, but he hasn't been explosive enough to dominate. I'm not sure why that is. He makes some big-time defensive plays where he gets way above the rim, but offensively, he hasn't been a guy that wants to tear the rim down. He's even been a bit passive at times.

Stars win on the road 102-77 v. Santa Cruz. NWG started at point. 3-12 shooting but grabbed 9 boards. Collinsworth and Morgan with double doubles. JWF, Oni and Brantley all solid and in double figures. Everyone on the team was a + in the box score that played. Howard another good outing.
