Jazz v. T'wolves

Royce and Ex the only guys with a + by their name in the box score. It really frosts me when a guy the front office felt wasn't any good comes in and gets 14 points 6 boards and a +19 in the box. The guy is a freaking two way player for them. Have some pride Jazz.

DM has got to just take easier shots sometimes, everything is 9.5 degree of difficulty. you dont have to fake them out of their sox 3 times before every shot.Conley needs to cut his hair or throw a coin in the wishing well or get a tattoo or something to shake the slump.Rudy is playing out of his mind, we dont have a 2nd center or 2nd unit.

People keep moaning about how snyder doesnt give exum a chance, but hes been given quite a long leash for his actual ability on the court
Lol. It's his first game back for a year. He looked as fast as usual. It will take a little time to get himself into rythym. And he was fine when he was on the court

Oh well. I'm not sure what the answer is apart from we didn't shoot well. We played very good D in patches.

Bench wise, Exum was the only positive in terms of +/-. Royce was the only one in the positive from the starters. We're going to need to seriously look at the backup 4 position up until the trade deadline. I was convinced that Green was a guy that you can't play in the playoffs even before he came here, knowing who he is. I gave him a chance to see what the coaching stuff can do with him, but you're not going to drastically change a 33 year old. Mudiay has overall played well and I would be more willing to gamble with him, because he's still young and can potentially be molded into something greater.

Onto the next one, against Minny again. We need to win that one.
I'm not as impressed with Mudiay. Yeah, it's nice that he can score, but teams are getting wise to him driving into the paint and never looking to pass.

I should be surprised that people are trying to blame Conley, yet at the same time are looking at Donovan's 5/24 and not a peep from them about that. But I'm not surprised.

We can't win many games shooting like this. As much as I hated some of Sloan's stuff, his offense generally would get us tons of open mid range jumpers and layups. I know, I know it is not sexy anymore and not popular based on analytics. I still believe it is better shots that those stupid damn semi contested floaters Mitchell and Conley are bricking left and right.

I can see what you're saying. When teams are defending him well, he doesn't do much else, like today. And of course he's got his customary higher amount of turnovers than assists this game. He has however been a spark plug scoring wise in a bunch of games when we've needed it, and I have to give him credit for that, and out of all the new guys on the team, it looks like he is giving the most effort on D, which I haven't really seen out of him through his entire career.

How is the offense still this bad with all the moves we made in the offseason? I just don't understand it. So frustrating.

Imo this is a coaching thing.

legit asking, does anyone know our average offensive team rating since Quin has been here?

Love Quin but when you add this many weapons and payroll and the result is the same, he needs to bring in some help or make some changes himself.

Almost every team we have played this year looks to have a better offensive system than us. Like, even the bottom teams.

20+ times a game we seem to have someone drive in the lane and then stop, having no idea what they wanted to do.

Obviously Joe and Mike struggling isn't helping. But I'm starting to wonder if Quin is part of the offensive issues. We don't seem to take advantage of mismatches in our favor or feed the hot hand very well. The low assist totals we rack up as a team every year is troubling. We talk about the PG being the problem every year but maybe it's not?
