Jazz looking at Amundson?

I think that Amundson would be an OK pickup, not great. Good FG%; bad FT%. Doesn't hold his own on the court; doesn't create. But I love the hustle. So-so scoring and RBs.

Not another poor free throw shooter! The Jazz were horrible at them last season, they do not need another player that makes them even worse at the line.

A guy you could get for super cheap but also would be a great guy to come off the bench, could see him fitting right in. so why not

Plays some defense, and is a hustle type player. Would help our toughness a little.
He can board, and block shots. Seems like a solid cheap pick up.

I heart this guy. Sign him

We haven't had this kind of consistent hustle, nasty dunking, and shotblocking in a long time. Dude reminds me of AK47 when he actually cared.

You do realize he was on the Jazz before, right? He's decent....I don't mind him....but I doubt he has changed all that much and they had plenty of looks at him in practice. I guess it all comes down to price.

I like Amundson. I'm not sure he is as effective or stands out as much on the Jazz as they don't have the same floor-stretching personnel and game-plan and don't put nearly the same amount of emphasis on transition play.

But yeah, I like Amundson.

So? He played 1 game as a Jazzman in 06-07. That doesn't mean we couldn't use him now.

As far as the Jazz giving him plenty of looks at practice, so what? The Jazz management can make mistakes.

If he comes cheap, I'd much rather give this guy some burn than Doofus.

The dude could come in for 10-20 minutes per game, give us some dunks, block a few shots, get some rebounds, and get the energy going. Unlike Fess, Kirilenko, or Kosta, Louis doesn't make me cringe whenever he's in the game.

Sure Amundson is a good player ... nice to have around .. but at this time the Jazz also need height to counter the tall trees of Lakers and the rest of the league. Much as we want him, unless AK is shipped out there is no spot for him. Not for salary purposes but based on position and probable playing time.
