If course they to, no one asked for a flawless squad that beats everyone by 300 pts every night. But As I said, teams that are considered elite do not choke away double digits leads multiple times per night, against bottom-feeders no less, when a single player sits for a short rest. We are always fighting an uphill battle because no matter what lead the starters get they know it will be a deficit by the time gobert comes back in the game. We should at least expect a 10 point lead it still at minimum a lead of some kind by the time gobert comes back in the game. More often than not it's reversed completely and we spend the next 3 quarters trying to get the momentum back. If we are really going to contend that has to be fixed.

To also be fair, getting a healthy Conley will improve the bench play, even if it means pushing O'Neale to the bench.

I don't watch all of LeBron's games but I bet his teams lose leads often when he sits.
