I would say that Bradley is an average back up center, the problem is that both LA teams have arguably the best back-up centers in the league. Therefore, if you can make a meaningful upgrade you do.
One ray of hope is that Bradley is basically a rookie this year, and rookies get better during the year. You can see that he is already much better now on both sides of the ball than he was when Davis first went out. I was in the camp of Bradley being a bust, but I am happy to be wrong. He is clearly an NBA player, and is our future back up center (unless we can get some value for him in a trade).
