Jazz @ Rockets 5:00 PM MT Game Thread

This would be a big win if we can somehow pull this put. Like others here I'm not expecting it. Well see, not too long ago I thought we could score with anybody.

Westbrook was a gametime decision for rest, but it looks like he's playing. Eric Gordon is a gametime decision with a bruised lower leg.

I love to see a 1-4 defense. Leave Rudy in the middle and force mid range all night

Some teams have had success doubling Harden and forcing Westbrook to be the volume guy in their offense. I’ll be interested to see if Q goes there.

HOU defenders had an easy time staying in front of the ball in the last game. UTA has to make it much more uncomfortable for them on that end.

And, the fulcrum of this game comes down to whether UTA can punish the small-ball approach. Obviously. There shouldn’t be a single rational Jazz fan who has a lot of confidence that they can do that.

Rudy needs to move on offense. A big reason why we've struggled to feed Rudy against small ball is that he finds a spot in the paint or on the baseline and just stands there.

We aren't going to post him up. It's just not our offense. And Rudy isn't effective in a standstill.

He needs to constantly relocate and let passers find him on the move.

If we can make Westbrook shoot it's great. The problem is if they pull out Gobert to the perimeter and make Wesbrook drive to the rim. Rivers and Gordon were killing us like that last time.
