I was worried you were going to pick someone else. I have no respect for Davis as a basketball player. For a top 5 player in this league he can’t be the man. He doesn’t carry a team. There was always a decent amount of talent on that pels team and think he made the playoffs once or twice.
He is the cyborg version of Anthony Davis. Twice as strong and fast, laser targeting system so he has range to the opposite baseline. Can run the length of the court in 0.7 seconds.
Yep, and against gobert and the jazz he scored 30 while blocking a career high 11 shots.

It all depends on the plan, but it's tough to argue Davis is not a top 10 player right now. He has been top 10 all this season easily, maybe top 5, and is the front runner for the DPOY this year. Tough to find many better picks tbh.
I consider Durant to be in the discussion of #1 best player in the NBA. I don't think about injuries when I vote on these things though.

Luckily he is just the anchor while Curry, who has proven again and again he can carry championship teams, is the captain.
I think I got about the best 1-2 punch in this thing right now. Fill in with solid role players and defenders who can hit the 3 and I've got a contender.
