Based on your 2018 or if you've filed already 2019 payment method. So if you've changed banks between 2018 and now and haven't filed your taxes yet I would think you are in for a large pain in the ace.

Or if you got a check it will be sent to your address you last filed taxes with.

Exactly - the long-tail impact of this means that individuals will be more likely to scrimp and save to spend their money on food/rent vs. other purchases. That's going to impact a lot of quarterly results.

If you're looking to buy a car, you're going to find some killer deals the second half of the year. You already see 0% financing being tossed for 7 years and multiple payment deferrals - I would expect the incentives to get even better.

I suspect I'll be one of the early receivers of the stimulus check since I filed with a return into direct deposit in January, which is sad because I need it less than so many others right now. Work in absolutely essential field remotely (mostly) so my income will remain steady.

Soooo. Just noticed our 2018 taxes are linked to a bank account we have since closed. Haven't done our 2019 taxes yet to update our banking info. Will be interesting / sucky to see how this plays out.
