I like Giannis at the point but with prime DWill ill let him run it most likely. DWill in his prime could battle with anyone at PG. Plus I have Bill Walton that can hold his own against any center coming off the bench in case a Center gets going against my team. Plus I have 2 wings in Ellis and Rice that are elite shooters. Honestly Rice and/or Walton could/should start, its a hard call on those. I like having 3 elite defenders on the court with Dirk and another solid one in DWill.

I like the trade but I think you are undervaluing prime Artest. He is a bit of a nut case but his best season he was putting up 24 points a game on really good efficiency, including the 3. Along with being one of the best defenders in the league at the time. I think people more remember him from his past his prime time in LA.

Meanwhile, prime Diaw remains on the shelf. The guy who bodied the likes of KD and then LeBron in successive series on the way to a chip. And whilst passing, scoring, and DEFENDING like a true Maestro.

Diaw is the ONLY common ingredient between the 7-seconds-or-less Suns (who changed the league forever by exploring the PACE dimension of the space-and-pace era), and the Ball-Movement-Perfection Spurs (who perfected the SPACE dimension).

But, yeah, let’s laud the selection of Siakam, Tatum, Brown, Donovan and such. Eyeroll.
