What if the team with most votes in round one automatically goes to round three, gets a bye in round two. Thoughts?

First round
1-10 2-9 3-8 4-7 5-6 5 is the chosen one
Second round
1-2 3-4
Third round
1,3,5
And you have a "final three" as I wrote in my post about the 12 team playoffs proposal.

Yes it could work but IMO is a bit complex and not extremely fair (maybe 6 is a trash team and so 5 gets all the votes even though it isn't the best team).

Two losing teams with the most votes in round one. Problem solved and fair

So two losing teams with the most votes moves on
Three losing team
First round
1-10 2-9 3-8 4-7 5-6 10 9 8 are the lucky losers
Second round (randomized matchup--that is important)
1, 2, 3, 4 (conference A) 5, 10, 9, 8 (conference B)
Third round
final conference A final conference B
Final

Correct me if I made some mistakes

Ok. Three highest losing teams it is. I’m going to randomize this bitch and set the draft order

I’m good to not if it comes down to it. Talent-pool will get watered down mega fast. Maybe we could draft anyone that ever played for the Jazz and use their peak years to make it more robust?

Anyway.

12 teams

Two losing teams with most votes move on in the first round.

5 players each. Modified snake format.

@Thee jazz fan

Get the order going.

FWIW, I think the third round should be the same order as the 2nd. The first half of the first round has an enormous advantage.
