Jazz need internal growth

"that Raja Bell recovers from the injuries that plagued him last season and takes on a larger role as well"

i don't know many jazz fans that wish raja to have a larger role on the team

I'm pretty sure he just got it backwards. Hopefully he'll recover from his role that plagued the Jazz last year, and his injuries become larger.

Too much talk about our players.

What about coaching staff?

IMO, the coaching staff is the biggest question mark right now. they're much more unproven than our pretty green roster.

is Corbin and co capable to developing this team? Are they skilled enough to outcoach the other more experienced coaching staffs in this league? Will they take us to the playoffs and further?

We'll see...

Harris and Watson would probably be a Top 10 PG combo in the league. Between the two they should get beyond adequate production from that spot. Chris Paul and Jarrett Jack are probably the best PG start-bench combo, but Harris-Watson isn't so bad.

Memo should come back strong, and i would insert him back in the starting line-up. Memo and Jefferson is what the starting unit should have been last year and it should be this season 9whenever there may be a season). If Memo starts than Millsap cannot say anything about moving back to the bench... and becoming 6th man of the year.

I think we will need Raja next season. I think it's going to be awhile before Burks can contribute (especially with no pre season or training camp). That is of course assuming there is a season. If the season started on time, I would guess it would be Feb before Burks saw any real time, kind of like Hayward last year.

Who exactly is Burks competing with for playing time? Miles and Hayward will probably start, that leaves Bell and Burks to come off the bench on the wings. There's no one else. He'll get playing time, and I'll be very surprised if he isn't more productive than Bell by week 3 of the season.

Injuries didn't plague Raja. He's just a plague. I caught it through my TV and I still haven't washed it all off. I've had wet dreams where Jerry subbed in Palacio for Raja. The Raja Plague has no cure. You just get away as far as you can and deal with the tremors.

With memo-AJ we would get 60 ppg conceded in the paint

i think the only leader potential player in this team is Hayward. Jefferson, Harris cant do it, and most people would like to see Raja out of the roster rather than being a leader. But i think, if we make a package of Hayward and Jefferson, Millsap can step up as the veteran leader guy in our team even though he is pretty young. Anyway we dont need 10 guys to lead, we need just 1 and i think that will be Hayward sooner or later. Also we need some decent coaching as well

I can definitely see Millsap be the team leader, just like Udonis Haslem is the "team-leader" of the Miami Heat; and quite frankly, the difference between him and Haslem is that Millsap WILL be playing in clutch time, and hes probably one of our most clutch players. Therefore, even if hes a bench player 2 years down the line, I can still see him be an effective leader because hell be there for the team when we need him most, AND he has a history of bailing us out of some ridiculous situations. Not to mention the guy is an absolute class-act, and a great example of a professional athlete.
