Trading D.Will wasn't such a bad thing. He can't carry a team on his own. Maybe he'll help the Nets get 35 wins. He might help attract a FA to NYC, but he wasn't going to bring a big FA to Utah. The Jazz needed to rebuild with or without D.Will, and they got three lotto picks to rebuild with.
 
I'd pay money to watch him coach the BYU football team. (Zing! OK, OK, I'm a Cougar fan but I couldn't resist.)

Except they didnt 'lose' DWill. They traded (due to management's abilities) and got more than they gave.

You're right.

But his defects were enough to possibly make a difference between a title and no title (and sometimes contention and no contention).

The same could be said for players, but it's the coaches' job to minimize those defects.

1) Sloan sucks
2) Fesenko never got development

Thanks, most of his responses are way too long to read. I needed that concise explanation.

WOW!!!! Did Coach sloan not help with the development of a couple guys named, Stockton and Malone!! Just because the Jazz didnt win a title doesnt mean that Sloan was a failure as a coach. They made it to the finals twice and played their hearts out. Coach Sloan demanded the best out of every player.
You want to cry about Fesenko and Koufous not being developed? Look, you can only teach a monkey so much sign language before he gets overwhelmed with work, and thats what you had in their case.
