The key to this series from here on out is the Jazz's ability to defend Denver. Utah's offense will generate 115+ ppg unless they have an abysmal shooting night across the board. I don't think Denver has the tools to shut off Utah's offense, as Utah has matchups they can exploit and options they can go to.

The Jazz made some defensive adjustments in Game 2 that held Denver to 77 points after 3 quarters, despite Denver having an above-average shooting performance. If the Jazz can sustain this type of defense, they should win the series by Game 6. Final scores should be something like 116 - 109.

Also, here's the link to the actual magazine if you want to purchase it with him on the cover:

I have 3 predictions for game 3:

1) After taking a severe defeat, Denver will come roaring back, and the game will be very close.
2) Mike Conley will return.
3) Half the board will blame #2) for the results of #1.
Ummmm everyone knows that if two things happened one caused the other... its just science.

I am hoping all the hand wringing I did about Mike starting will reverse jinx us to victory.

And they might not be wrong on #3, we'll see.

Don't worry we just need Royce and his 6 point average to carry us to victory. :)

Team rebounding has been exceptionally important—especially for the starting lineup. Replacing Morgan with Conley doesn’t help with this in any scenario. And the latter claim isn’t any kind of artifact of interpretation, bias, or anything of the sort.

I'm praying the first 5 minutes are Mike canning threes and making me look super dumb... I worry that they murder us on the glass and we start slow.

I also don't that Morgan is a great fit in the second unit... I assume Niang and Bradley still play. So Morgan may be out of the rotation completely.

Q can get ride-or-die with some concepts and players. It’s fair to worry right now.

But I’m with you: I hope I’m wrong.

But is it official that Mike will start in place of Morgan?
Or Mike off the bench is still a possibility?

ESPN says "Conley is expected to return as a starter with the series tied 1-1."

Maybe he comes out with a passion - lets see it. Remember what the birth of his child did wtih VanVleet? He came alive.
