Silver would never allow the Lakers to get more talent... to have three all stars in Lebron AD and AC and then add additional talent is unfair and bad for the league.
I think the Lakers will keep the old guys but use Kuzma to make a deal getting somebody they can actually use. He was such a bad fit with LBJ and AD. I wonder what LA can get for him.

AC with a team high +20. Not sure how much longer he can carry LBJ and AD but he shows no signs of letting up.

Please share this expansive and vast list of lots of players that were better in the NBA than they were overseas.
This is a good thought experiment.

But our own Royce, Ingles and Neto are better in NBA. There are also the draftees but they shouldn't count.

Bolomboy sucks, though!

Were they better or just were they able to take what they did over there and translate it to an NBA role. They improved their shooting a bit but they were effective over there. Joel is a backup center there and doesn't look like a particularly good one.

Both Ingles and Royce improved their game. Ingles was good in PnR but didn't have this much consistency and Royce was an all-arounder, his defense improved as well as his shot. They definitely have more role on our team. Credits to Jazz development team, I am not sure they would be this good if they stayed. If they went to Europe now, they would be stars.

Neto is different because he was still young when he came over and had actuall pretty good showing in World Cup. It's closer to realizing his potential which he could do in Europe as well.

Bolomboy is a decent Back-Up center at best in Europe.

I agree... I just thought it was funny that @Thee Idiotic Minivan K makes it seem like there are tons of scrubs in the Euro League that end up being good in the NBA. Udoh was like the damned MVP over there and he ended up 3rd string on our squad for a few years... I doubt Bolomboy as a backup there is some untapped talent.

Udoh could catch the ball in Europe!! His defense was about the same but he was great on offensive boards and could body up people. He played for a great team under one of the best coaches in the world, though. He played with Bogdan Bogdanovic and Jan Vesely and some other very good Euro players so he didn't exactly have a hard time.

The reason why I tried to come up with players because I thought it would be rare. Also the players that come over from Europe are already good which Bolomboy isn't, they just happen to take the next step in the NBA sometimes.

Two things. One, it takes a while to break in. He hasn’t been playing very long. He started playing ball late in his life. Second, the athletic physical, jump out of the gym guys don’t usually fit in to the style played over in Euro ball

Some guys who jump out of the gym aren't good at basketball. If he ain't ready now then he wouldn't have been ready had we kept him. I

Tibor Pleiss and Jeff Withey are absolutely balling overseas. Do we want them back too?
They are not balling out. They are just 1 tier above Bolomboy and are getting Back-Up minutes.

Tibor definitely isn't a big part of his team and is totally expandable. He did start for a season or two after he left the Jazz but while positive, did not bring his teams to contender level.

The Conley trade will go down as the worst trade in team history.

We were a better team this season when he didn't even play. We consistently got worse in the 7 game series when he played.

I like Conley the person and I even like Conley the player, but he doesn't fit here. He takes the ball out of Don's hands, and he can't guard anybody good.
