Following Potential 2020 draftees

Can someone please explain why Quickley is consistently mocked in the 2nd round? Especially in a draft where there's a bunch of guards/players in general in the same tier? I don't think I've seen a mock with him in the 1st. Is his lack of size for an off ball player that bad? Is his ability to create separation and passing/playmaking that bad?

Ive said it before and ill say it again, Anthony Edwards vs Donovan Mitchell is gonna be a showdown!! ima be tuned in for sure. We'll see what happens we all know Mitchell is a monster, but thats what their gonna draft this kid #1 to do, to take those matchups.

I dont care if Nnaji cant play the 4. The Jazz's are in a dire situation when it comes to the backup 5. If they think Nnaji is that dude, then I'm ok taking him. He does a lot of things I like.

I'd prefer a Bey/Woodard, but a rookie 5 probably has an easier path to minutes on this team that anyone else.
Nnaji is my first choice , but I think the pick will be Bey and will be more than happy with it.

He's certainly not big enough to be an off the ball player, not one that warrants a 1st rd selection. Whoever picks him will be grooming him at the point IMO, or have hopes he can pick that up.

As far as creating separation, thats not really his forte, he's much more of a guy ur just gonna run off of screens...

As far as his passing/playmaking, I think it's markedly better than he's been given credit for... honestly.. He's really made tremendous strides in his game in the past few years, so part of the reason why a team is gonna take him is to be betting on further snowballing those gains..

u better believe tho with this condensed offseason upcoming, that some priority is gonna be made by teams in utahs range to take players that can help them now, and specifically i beleive its gonna be in the form of PG's... already u see players like Malachi Flynn moving up the board... So Quickly could be in that vein.

6'8.25" wingspan measurement for him at the combine will help him some recover. he posted some sooolid #'s in those agility drills too.

has anyone in nba history been traded for more 1st rd picks than Jrue Holiday? pretty sure it took a few to get him outa philly IIRC

hes out there running laps around rubio and george hill in this competition

How do you feel about the Marvin Williams comparison? I've seen a few draft guides use Marvin as a comp for Woodard.
That's why Locke likes him so much. There's a pretty large pool of comps you can make for Woodard because his archetype is so sought after in the NBA. He doesnt have to do a lot of developing to make himself a useful NBA player.

There are a lot of underrated 2-guards in this draft:

Jalen Harris
Mason Jones
Skylar Mays
Tyshawn Alexander
Immanuel Quickley
Isaiah Joe
Cassius Stanley
Sam Merrill

Not sure who out of this group is going to make it long-term, but I like all of them in the 2nd round or even earlier (Jones/Harris especially)

I really like Jones too. I think he's going to go sneaky high tomorrow.

Isaiah Joe is underrated? compared to whom? preseason he was overrated... The latest on Joe is Philly has promised him... they hold #21 and #34... I'd imagine more at 34.. who knows tho. There's seemingly always a few "shocking" wings that surprise in the 1st
