Following Potential 2020 draftees

He's TB with more rim protection... maybe more athletic but they are cut from the same cloth... I ain't looking for a slightly better version of a player we have that is not working out all that well.

Maybe more athletic is a huge understatement. LeBron may be more athletic than Ingles.

I am actually on the train with Jalen Harris. I think he is a very valuable pick this late in the draft. He checks a lot of the boxes.

I am super excited that Jazz have 2 picks now and the potential to purchase a couple more picks.

I like Killian Tillie with 38 among others
I would take Harris with the 38th pick. I am getting ready to be disappointed that Jazz pick no one I like.

IDK much about Udoka, but TB plays like a weenie under the rim. Biggest disappointment by far. Dude was terrified going up against a Plumlee. Never really developed the use of his frame to get shots off and bully players.

Bradley's only real contributions were space eating and offensive rebounds. Udoka could bring more "nasty" possibly?

Players I'd be happy with:

- Immanuel Quickly
- Jahmi'us Ramsey
- Tyler Bey
- Robert Woodard
- Zeke Nnaji
- Paul Reed
- Killian Tillie
- Jalen Harris
- Cassius Winston
- Jordan Nwora
- Lamine Mane
- Abdoule N'doye

TB gets the Exum whistle. You can literally see him thinking about not fouling and then the guy scores and usually gets a foul anyway.

Im not sure it is something that can be taught.

If you want a traditional rim protecting 5 that **** is on sale for the minimum and there is no development required. If we take a big let them please for the love of god have a chance at being a shooter or passer and being able to be more switch would be great. We can’t keep doing just the drop big defense without any change ups.

Also a crazy athlete.

I would not like to draft him because I think it is imperative that the Jazz have a change-up for the backup 5, but Udoka is an immensely better prospect as a backup than Bradley. That's just a pretty low bar.

Udoka's vertical numbers were 100% flubbed because he short reached his standing reach and he ran the slowest shuttle time. I can't really speak to his functional athleticism in game.

Saw a Capela comp somewhere, which obviously if he gets there that is solid. I just would not want to use the #38 on him... DL missing on TB and then drafting this guy and having him not work out well as a backup would be high comedy. The easiest position in the league to fill and you can't figure it out.

Also the drop big is a tough defense for a center that isn't awesome... especially if you perimeter guys don't provide enough ball pressure or contest jumpers well enough. If you want to go far in the playoffs you need a changeup.

At #38 I won't cry too hard... but I just feel its a waste of a pick.

You'd think they'd at least compare his prior measurements and be like "hold up wait a minute... dude shrunk by 3 inches or so?"

This is true, he's still a great athlete though.

Kansas was the best team in the country, not exactly tough to find their games...

YEp, but even so, he is very explosive off the ground for his size. No idea how fast he gets off the floor though, I'm guessing not very.
Can you imagine drafting him and not having a consolidation trade for Ed/Tony... 3 traditional backup centers on the roster. I assume if they draft him they find homes for Ed and/or Tony.

Yeah but I dont really care too much about him as a prospect or anyone on Kansas tbh so they havent a been a focus of mine. I can't accurately scout everyone in a draft/

Tony is slightly cheaper and the Spurs supposedly liked him once upon a time. Maybe they could send him to the Spurs for some future 2nd.

I could see SA or Detroit taking him for nothing... Ed might be tougher. Worst case one stays on as the 3rd stringer. There are just so many more interesting prospects than Udoka imo... even some bigs I'd prefer.
