Kelly Oubre is going for a late first pick OR 2 2nds if the the pick is above 20. We really can't put together something better than that? That's a steal imo

The only contract we have to move is Conley, which the front office don't seem to want to move.

So it goes. Personally I like the idea of moving Conley and going after Jerami Grant in Free Agency.

We can. But we are simply way behind in terms of trade negotiation. Just look at how that #23 pick was dealt last night. We turned it into 27 and 38 then hours later the New York frickin Knicks was able to turn that same #23 pick into 25 and 33. Yes. Not Celtics. Not Thunders. The Knicks. The one organization that had its management being the league's laughing stock for years.

When there is an opportunity for a steal or bargain, I'm sure we will be one of the least ready teams to take advantage. Or worse, we are now probably the one that other teams would want to take advantage of

We should have done the following:

23 for 25 and 33... Minnesota.

Trade Ed Davis, Tony Bradley, and #25 to OKC for oubre (or any number of starters that were available last night from OKC including Ferguson, Adams, Nerves Noel, Andre Roberson, Rubio).

Draft Azibuike with the 33rd pick

Traded for the 39th pick for the guy we liked (my favorites were Bane followed by Woodard who were both available if I recall.

Then we keep the 2 second rounders and take back a starter and end with the same draft night.

Instead we reached for Azibuike hard.

Bane went #30 to Memphis

I agree, he would be a great fit. Although they are giving something we can't. They are taking his salary without giving them any salary back. Maybe with a third team we can though.

Wrong. Chances are #’s 25-33 might not have been available the night before. The jazz made the mistake of not being more patient and waiting for during the draft. We also don’t know if NY called the wolves or vice versa. Had we held the pick, chances are Minnesota calls us.

Fun fact: Kelly oubre is going to cost the warriors 80 million dollars for one season next year due to luxury taxes.

Trade our first next year for this dude.

Mike/Donovan
Donovan/Clarkson
Bogey/ingles
Oubre/Royce
Gobert/Favors

Utah is just dumb when it comes to Kelly Oubre. Plain and simple. Taking Lyles over him was completely asinine in retrospect.

Switch position with oubre and bogey. Oubre can move much better defensively and is much lighter than bogey.

Oubre was my dude in that draft.
I forget, was booker still on the board when the jazz took Lyle's?
