As I said in the other post, Royce seems a good defender compared to DM, Bojan, Ingles, Clarkson, Mudiay. All those are putrid on defense.
Maybe Oni is not so good too, but compared to the those he seems DPOY.

Yes. I also watched Bulls games last year. Oni being bad for a few possessions in meaningless minutes mean nothing towards his future role.

Again, I love DM but the kid isn't top tier. I love Rudy too but remember when dumb ****s roasted me for saying he's tradable for the likes of AD. How did that age? @NUMBERICA

He probably was at the end of the 18-19 season.

We could've traded Rudy for AD and then lost AD to the Lakers in free agency a few months later.

I think it would be different story if you put 1-2 on the court with the starters/top 7.

This. The starters lack the energy and athleticism of the these younger players while the younger guys lack the experience and more importantly communication of the older players. Combine the two and you shouldn't have blow by after blow by on the more senior players or too much gambling by the younger guys. Its about finding the right balance which will change from game to game based on the opponent. Judging them when already down 25 points with the opposition full of confidence is as stupid as judging them when they come off the bench for us when we are 25pts up.
