Would be a franchise defining classic if we won tomorrow. It's unlikely, but this team has earned me feeling like there's a chance. Jazz can win this game. This jazz team has earned that: the first seed, the championship, and this game tomorrow--they might not be the favorite, but they have a real chance. I watched a lot of **** basketball after the D-Will era ended. I watched nearly every game of the gordon hayward era. I ain't taking this team that always has a chance for granted.

Certainly true, but even without those three, the Jazz have 6 players on their roster that shoot 37% or better from 3. Though not real likely, they could pull off the upset.

You mother bleeper.., I am the one who determines whether or not it is a must win... this is a must win... and some games the only way you win is by not playing. We should not play Rudy and Joe and get some rest. We likely play it straight up and stay within 9-12 points until the very end and play Joe and Rudy too much which costs us the game tomorrow.
My dad is going to the game tonight so if you see an old man kicked out for fighting Booker and CPee you all will know what happened. That old bastard set a record for the amount of little league and rec league basketball games he was tossed out of... has that Jerry Sloan fire in a Danny Devito body. So we basically have home court advantage tonight.
I predict CP3 gets a little too excited before the game and drinks so much p he gets a tummy ache. Booker freaks out and thinks its the same thing as a snake bite and tries to suck the p out of him but ends up eating so much salt his blood pressure increases and the doctors decide both of them need to rest and then get some mental health support because the whole incident is confusing and stressful for them.

CP and Booker are masters of getting to THEIR SPOTS in the midrange, and then making good playmaking or shooting decisions immediately afterward.
II.
To have enough success against this over the duration of a game, you have to make both movements more challenging. In other words, take their first choice of spots away from them; and either make their passes more difficult or their shots more contested.
III.
Our problem with this is that we are basically trained to submit to our opponents’ desire to enter the midrange. In other words, if they want to go there, we basically accept/encourage that. Next, Rudy is involved as a helper in most of the subsequent actions, leaving Ayton available for offensive rebounds (they had one of their best rebounding games of the season against us last time).
IV.
At the very least, we need to keep them further out.
V.
I’d like to see us force them into more difficult skip passes

And I’d like to dare their weaker shooters to beat us.

We have to punish the boards. Total dominance.
