Forget about Oni. Torrey Craig is his ceiling. Why even bother investing in guys like him when we can just go and grab Torrey Craig right off the bat.

Same argument about Niang,Thomas, Forrest. All these guys take years to develop and the return is so low that it's pointless. Like how this organization treats Royce as the golden boy for their player scouting/development when guys exactly like Royce literally come out ever year.

To win it all we can't only have one “Royce.” We need to get a bunch of “Royces” and we need them fast. Can't afford to keep goofing around wasting our precious time on those development projects.

And again... we keep bitching about not having defenders and tough guys... Torrey Craig was traded to the Suns for cash considerations. He shoots it well enough... would be our second best perimeter defender... rebounds really well. Just asinine we said Niang and Oni are enough.

Not more athletic. Brains are a particularly important part of athletes... Mann ain’t scurrrrd. Oni is shifting himself.
I don't think Oni played bad. Quin put him on Beverley and he helped cut off lanes and I think he played positively on defense. Nail defense is becoming important and he fits the description.

The ball didn't come his way on offense but he needs to do something on that end. I am getting some Exum vibes.

The ball didn’t come his way for a reason. Oni just kinda bought us some minutes... that’s cute... clips dudes actively did huge things that got them a win. Oni gets a pay on the head for being invisible... which is better than Favs and Niang.

Conley being out has been a double whammy. Him coming back would effectively kick Oni out of the rotation.

We've tried players like Craig in Exum and Shaq Harrison and they continually fail under Quin as they don't fit what he wants on offense. DL spent this season giving Quin players he could use to fit his offense. Quin hasn't even tried using Forrest who could have an impact defensively and can run the occasional play in Conleys absence, hell he hasn't even tried using Ilaysova who could give us something different to Favors and Niang.

The offense just looks absolutely abysmal unless we are completely nuclear from three. Even jacking up bad shots is better than the turnover alternative we see otherwise.

We knew they would be switching everything and going small. Injuries aside, I’m still surprised it has thrown us off so badly. I really thought Rudy would be so dominant down low against that scheme that it wouldn’t work, at least as well as it has. The rebounding has just not been near good enough and we just can’t seem to get him the ball consistently. It’s ends up with Clippers more often than him when we throw it down low.

Credit the Clips I guess. I did not expect Snyder to get out schemed by Lue, but not sure how else to call it at this point. Even in his post quarter interviews Snyder seems shell shocked and without answers. Maybe we’ll finally try something different, or finally get Conley back. But that’s tough in an elimination game.

Just a really tough series. Jazz can play way better. But I just want to see both teams healthy. Sucks.

It's like either you are ready to play or you are done. This team should have moved on from the likes of Niang, Morgan, Oni a long time ago and go grab guys like Craig, Payne, Rivers who are ready to contribute from day one.

These guys are not like Tracy Mcgrady or Anthony Edwards who’s got all-time talent but just struggled initially to get acclimated into this league. These are the end of bench scrubs. And we should not be exercising our patience with these guys.

No we haven’t... the closest thing to Craig we have tried is Royce and that actually worked. He’s a better shooter than ex and Shaq and knows he’s not a pg... he’s a 3 and D guy and knows it.

This is so true. Favors, Niang and Oni shouldn't be on the floor in the series at all, but what is Quin supposed to do? Like, we have no other options. We can play the starters 40 plus but I don't think you can play all 5 of them all 48 minutes, and we have absolutely no other options, the end of our bench is the absolute *****.

Spending copious amounts of offseason assets to unload Bradley and Davis only to draft Udoka and overpay Favs is a huge deal to me. Wut u doing dawg.

Ersan at the 5 is something he hasn’t tried... I guarantee he breaks it out for game 6... just like last year waiting for game 7 to swap Morgan and Bradley. He’s not been dealt the greatest hand but he deserves a ton of blame.

I mean yes, he doesn't make any decisions on offense which sucks but I think putting him on Beverley was a nice move where he could have success. Oni isn't Mann who is probably their 4th-5th best player and he doesn't need to be for us to win this series. I think Mann is a rotation piece for the Jazz. He is not some Craig or Ariza or Shaq.
