Rudy was exposed. Not only can't he guard the small ball lineup, but he's soft. Can we ever win a title with him as center? This is the second year in a row that the Jazz have lost playoff series when it appeared they had a commanding lead. Something isn't working. Perhaps it is Gobert.

He's a phenomenal player but extremely limited in areas. We are stuck with him for a while though, might as well get used to it

Considering he's been absolutely exposed every year he's been in the playoffs, yes - it's time to move on from Gobert. The 2nd round is his ceiling.

In fairness, the Jazz should have played the Nuggets in the 2nd round, and this was the WCF.

too late.

His last contract was highly desirable and would land us some real assets. But now this is no longer an option cuz no team would want his new contract.

And we can't afford to let Conley go this offseason either. So it's the rare "three no's" situation that no sports franchise would ever wanna face.

No flexibility in salary. No flexibility in the roster. No flexibility in trade assets.

DL has officially run this organization to the ground.

This season was the "ring or nothing" season. Since we didn't get the ring, now it's time to embrace nothingness.

Rudy hasn’t developed any offensive game. Dunk or bust.

Just not how the game is being played these days.

And this, my friend, is why I’m expecting a DL retirement announcement no later than Monday.

What the jazz need is a guy who can cover gobert when teams go small….quin refused to use ersan…i think ersan is a better player than f niang.

I don't know but I'm seeing a lot of "This was just a nightmare matchup" on social media and I just don't want to hear it.

The Grizzlies offensive rating against us in Round 1 was well above their season average. The Nuggets torched us last year.

That's three series in a row where our defense has been putrid. Putrid even by a bad defensive team's standards in two of the three series.

We're paying Gobert to be a superstar on defense and not only is it not translating to the playoffs - our defense has been nightmarishly bad in that setting. That's a problem.

Depends on what we get... I would be gathering info though.

This is why the thing we need most of all is new leadership in the front office —so we can actually have confidence in decisions made. This should be numero uno on every Jazz fan’s offseason wishlist. There’s no way DL will even entertain Rudy trades, let alone gather intel.
