I'm actually pulling for CP3 now and wouldn't mind seeing him win. Sure I built a hate for him like all Jazz fans in the beginning for always being labeled better than D-Will. Then my hate grew when we played him in the playoffs with the Clippers and Rockets. He is an elite PG and one of the few true PG's left in the game. I wouldn't mind seeing him win on behalf of the 2005 draft class.
Well the suns have the benefit of having seen a zone before after watching the jazz vs clippers series. The jazz players and coaches had never seen a zone before in their entire lives before the clippers went to one.
I have always been a fan of CP3 and always wanted the jazz to pick him over D-will. I was pissed when we passed on CP3. He was statistically better at literally almost everything in college, he was a year younger, he was more of a pass first point guard (like stockton) and he had no tattoos or bling or anything (would fit with the utah culture i thought)
Damn, that luxury tax penalty would be in the billions or something lol.
CP3 has been a flopper and whinny bitch for most of his career. He gets away with so many hacks/fouls which make it seem like he is a better defender than he actually is. And now he's getting credit for all the Suns accomplishments when in fact the Suns were playing this well in the Bubble with Rubio.
I wish he would have played more against us lol
We were up 2-0 without our all star Conley and they had kahwi.
Because their perimeter defenders aren't Niang, Bogey, Ingles, Clarkson, and a hobbled Mitchell / Conley. They're young, long, and athletic.
