Doke can seal off the post, catch, and lay the ball in or dunk. Rudy just has never been that guy.

I didn't like the pick of Udoka... I hate it now with the Favs deal. I would like to see him at least given a chance.
It was one those deals where the FO absolutely did not expect to see him drop so far IMO. Gotta trade somebody to find him minutes!

DL needs to offer everyone but Donovan and hope somebody makes him an offer he
can't refuse

Bogey, it's not even close. He's one dimensional, although very good at that dimension. Clarkson can penetrate along with shoot. I don't think there's much difference between them on defense. Bogie is older as well.

Having the walking stick of dynamite that is Jordan Clarkson coming off the bench is incredibly valuable, and will be valuable no matter what the rest of the roster looks like.

Clarkson was literally the only one other than DM who could come close to generating any offense. I was shocked how ineffective bogey was.

He makes a bit of a move here at 1:20.

The difference in fluidity of movement between Dok and Rudy is staggering. Rudy often looks like a deer on ice. Dok just looks comfortable and natural when he has the ball in his hands. As much as I absolutely love the guy the Jazz need to find a way to move Favors and let Dok handle that back up traditional big man role. If you could move Favors and end up with someone who could play as a small ball 5 when needed that would be ideal.

Thank you. Also, ew, that's an awful deal. Better than losing Conley for nothing but only barely.

You have to decide if Mike's hamstring is a chronic problem going forward. This season it was. Also, Quin has a good relationship with Schroder going back to Atlanta, so it wouldn't surprise me if Schroeder would agree to it. But that said, Schroeder turned down a lot of money from LA. He may be looking for a big deal.

Schroeder is an *******... we kinda need one of those guys. I think the proposed deal violates the whole CBA so no one needs to worry.

It was Tony Jones responding to this tweet, he said that the Jazz would never make this deal or anything similar to it.
I would do it. Conley is too hurt and told old and small and might leave anyway. Love scroeder, kuzma could still turn into a player and would be nice to have some draft capital

Jazz would only do this deal if they knew they were losing Conley. Personally, I don't think Conley solves the Lakers' problems.

Well, yeah. This scenario happens if/when Conley telegraphs he is not re-signing in Utah, but says “I would like to play for X team, X team, or X team” that does not have the cap space to sign him outright.

And in this scenario, we’d be getting a first round pick, and also two players with some trade value that we could flip for more picks or other players if we don’t like the fit.

A first rounder, Kuz, and Schroeder is a hell of a lot better than getting nothing for Conley even if we are just flipping one or both of them. I’d prefer just re-signing Mike, but if Mike isn’t going to re-sign, I hope he is professional enough to tell us landing spots he’d like to go so we can work out some sort of deal that nets us assets. And unless Miami, the LA teams, or whatever have or can clear the cap space to sign him for an amount he’ll accept, a sign and trade is the only option to get him where he wants to go.

This particular trade might violate the CBA, but something like it might be what happens with Conley.

Mike’s problem is chronic. This is two years now.

Also, you have no idea the quality of Schroeder’s relationship with Q.
