What was Trump's contribution to vaccine development?

Anything he did anyone else in his position would have done as well. I guess he gets credit for not being incredibly incompetent and borderline insane this one time.

Operation Warp Speed, a Trump administration initiative to manufacture COVID-19 vaccines as fast as possible, should be lauded as a successful endeavour in what has otherwise been a poor effort to deal with the coronavirus, experts say.

"No doubt, Operation Warp Speed is a huge success," said Tinglong Dai, associate professor of Operations Management and Business Analytics at Johns Hopkins University Carey Business School in Baltimore.

"You can like or hate the Trump administration, but no doubt, it's a huge success — unprecedented success."

Oh, never heard of it...

ANYONE WOULD HAVE FASTTRACKED VACCINE DEVELOPMENT! THIS IS NOT SOME GREAT INNOVATION.

Trump get's credit for walking through the door that was placed in front of him instead of pooping his pants and playing with the turds like he often did. That's it. He did the 100% obvious thing. I have no doubt that the plan was brought to him and 100% of his advisors and top officials strongly advised him to do it. Yay for the great brain on Trump.

Doesn't change the fact that a little bit of Trump will always live inside you. 2 Piece doesn't understand it, but all that joy and great feeling he was talking about is not the vaccine. The vaccine makes you sick and has some mild to moderate side effects, well it did me and many I know. It's the Trump in him that makes him feel so good. He's a little less miserable and you can really tell.

Trump's administration did indeed help speed along vaccine development. Good on him.

I'll stop worrying about Trump when he's no longer in the 2024 Presidential race.
