Police shoot security guard who stopped a shooter

No charges were ever filed. I was wrong about the guy who killed Floyd, though.
Just making sure, but you did see who the DA in this case was, right? Jussie Smollett's family friend isn't exactly known for being friendly to the police. If she could have charged it she would have.

There isn't anything in that story about being a family friend. Did you confuse her with Tina Tchen?

The dig about her being Smollett's family friend wasn't the important part. Smollett is only the reason I recognized her name immediately. The important part, and how it relates to the decision to charge or not charge, is the animosity between Foxx and the police. She is very much not pro-cop.

I couldn't read the link. I did see the headline where is said the cop's union doesn't trust her. Can you quote the part where is says she doesn't like police?

Link to the letter from the Chicago Police citing specific instances of anti-cop actions by Kim Foxx.
Right. Did you read this? Which of these is "anti-cop":
Choosing not to prosecute certain criminals.
Not informing victims of a crime of the prior decision.
Releasing the victims of police coercion.
Releasing a different criminal suspected to be a gang member.

I mean, if you take the position 'the cops are always right' (as a police union might), I can understand disliking the third, but you are really suggesting that it's OK to coerce confessions, are you?

I'm saying that Kim Foxx isn't the type of DA to brush police misconduct, shooting or otherwise, under the rug.

In future, when you are saying things, perhaps you could avoid wandering off on tangents that say entirely different things which are not true?

For example, here's a case where there were ethical lases used to keep an alleged police-killer in jail, lapses she did try to hide:

Perhaps, since you're so certain she's willing to put police on trial, you can name one time she's done so since her first term began in 2017?
