Hughes has a 100% chance of making the roster for next season unless we buy him out or trade him, because he’s already got a guaranteed deal through next year.
Barring him looking amazing in Summer League, I’m not thrilled about it either. My guess is that he’s not an NBA player.
He was in Japan through at least the end of July playing for the Nigerian national team. Just may not have been able to make it back in time.

Hoopshype has the Jazz Vegas roster. Malik Newman and another guy that played on Jazz Blue are on the Spurs roster. The interesting addition is Malachi Richardson a 6'6" 2 guard from the Cuse that was a first round selection in 2016. Jarrell Martin, the Kentucky center, Funderberk, Kyle Fogg, and Teague are on it from the JVs and everyone from the Jazz white team is there.

Dwayne Bacon just got waived. 6'6" two guard from Florida State that averaged 10 ppg for Orlando last season. A 2nd round draft pick in 2017.
