Who would win a 7 game series?

Wes Mantooth

DeAndre Ayton // Myles Turner
Kevin Durant// Nicolas Batum
Jerami Grant // Norman Powell
Khris Middleton // Fred VanVleet
Chris Paul // Dennis Schroder

Vs.

Hekate

Rudy Gobert // Richaun Holmes
Tobias Harris // Robert Covington
Mikal Bridges // Duncan Robinson
Jrue Holiday // Bogdan Bogdanovic
Steph Curry // Kyle Lowry

Hekate built a nice team around Rudy and Steph. Holiday and Bridges would be suffocating with Rudy backing them up. Steph would get some great looks with Rudy setting him screens.

This score is fairly laughable tbh. He Kate doesn’t have one player who’s proven to be go-to in the postseason when it matters most. For the most part, Curry has been mediocre in the playoffs. Holiday sucked this year. Bridges isn’t worth talking about. And Harris puts up generally empty numbers and disappears all the time.

Durant, Middleton, and Paul are all very strong in the clutch. Whatevs.

As big of a Rudy fan as I am and being paired with Curry, I’m also a little miffed at this score as well. You built a dangerous team with big play ability throughout. I feel same happened to me because I played LBJ. People see Curry and Rudy and don’t give it much more thought then that.

Wtf? What's this Curry slander? And just say you haven't watched one minute of Harris. He has improved vastly as a defender after they shipped Horford.

You say Holiday sucked but the same talk was there with Middleton.

Bridges has shown more than being just a 3nD role player. You may not talk about him but that's just ignorance.

Also your bench sucks. Who drafts Batum in a 10 man draft, lmao.

The same talk was there of Middleton? What in the hell are you talking about? He was 24.3, 6.3, 5.3. Read up.

I know Harris has improved as a defender. I was speaking more of how he performs offensively. He completely disappears.

And I know Bridges is good. But like many dummies on this site, everyone always assumes all these young guys are going to take some massive leaps or something. Bridges, as great as he is on defense, hasn’t shown much at all on offense to think that.

And my bench sucks? Lmao.

Both of our teams would be very good on defense. But there’s no way your team would be as lethal on offense. Gobert’s a spaz and Bridges isn’t a threat.

Yeah, I can find an article that says Jrue was vital as well. Doesn't change the fact that people were ******** on Middleton, Bud, Giannis along the way, though.
Actually, Middleton's on-off net rating was +7, Jrue's was +15.

I can pull up stats for Harris too. He had actually better stats in playoffs than regular season. So much for reading up. 21.8 pts, 8.5 rebs, 3.5 asts on %48 and %38.

Bridges has shown more than flashes of self-creation already. A step forward would be nice and expected but not really necessary.

You have 3 guys under 6'3 coming off the bench, even if you don't play one of them, it means more minutes for Batum who doesn't belong in this competition and if you do it just becomes a liability.

You have good to great defenders but none of them are all-defense. I have 2 elite defenders. It's not a comparison.

Both teams are really solid.

I really like the Gobert/Curry pairing, but I love Wes’s roster construction.

Felt at the time that Grant, Middleton and CP3 were all good value picks. He built his team the way I personally would want my team to look.

In the end, that was the tipping point for me. Went with Wes. Curious to see how this one ends up.
