Utah to pursue a S&T w/Chicago

If we can steal Taj Gibson away from the Bulls I hope he contends with Paul for the starting power forward, and if he beats him out I would love to see that of course then we trade Paul Millsap and sign Jeff Pendergraph and then now we have legitimate length at the 4 position and great defenders that can score and develop into stars in this league given the chance.

Then my dream is trade Millsap to Orlando for Marcin Gortat and trade our TPE from Matt Harpring to Portland for Joel Przybilla and let those two we just picked up in Gortat and Przybilla battle for the starting 5.

Gibson is really 6'9" and Pendergraph is 6'10" which is alot better then Millsap's 6'6". Not to forget we would add two legit 7 footers in Gortat and Przybilla. And not to just add length to add length but these player can actually play against the best in the league and did well in college or before the league.

Dream line-up

Williams/Price
Miles/Matthews
Kirilenko/Hayward
Gibson/Pendergraph/Koufos
Gortat/Przybilla/Okur

Gibson's deal doesn't expire for 3 more years, we could sign Pendergraph to a small contract for 4 or 5 years, Gortat's goes for 4 more, and Przybilla expires after this year and possible resign after Kirilenko expires also or Okur could come back more healthy.

Lottery here we come!

With Williams at the point to make all these players better, lottery won't happen.

This lineup has a way better shot at guaranteeing you for the lottery.

Are you retarded? What have any of the guys in your trades done to show that they are worth their contracts?

I remember Taj Gibson fouling out with 0 points, 3 turnovers after only 12 minutes against the jazz earlier this year

Not sure I understand this lineup. Is it to keep salary low during the lockout? Or get a good draft pick? Why start those guys ahead of Okur? Why Gibson or any of those guys over Millsap? I'm asking honestly here, is this a lineup to fill space and get a good draft pick?

...ok in his rookie season and he continued to get better once Gibson learned to play in this league, and if the Western Conference title runs through Lakerland I do not expect 6 feet 6 inch Paul Millsap to have great success against the three 7 footers of the Lakers, so tell me how we fair coming out of the West with all these teams getting better around us?

Just imagine for a second Paul Millsap going against Pau Gasol or Andrew Bynum, how the heck is Paul Millsap going to get a shot up anywhere near the basketball (jumpers all day)? So we need to really think about going in a different direction, Gibson and Pendergraph are two really long players that excelled in college and really never given the chance in the NBA, and they come relatively cheap to take a chance on.

I like Gibson's upside, but you really think he could beat out Millsap? Child please.

...Gibson has played one season...Paul Millsap has played 4 season majority of the time having success against other teams bench players, and had one stretch where he started and was totally gassed at the end of it when it came playoff time.

Unfortunately the data differs with you. Oh, and so does watching the games.

These following lineups all outscored the opposition when they were on the court last regular season:
Williams-Matthews-Miles-Millsap-Fesenko
Williams-Matthews-Miles-Boozer-Okur [Notice that PM and KF do just fine without 'em]
Williams-Miles-Kirilenko-Millsap-Fesenko
Williams-Matthews-Korver-Millsap-Fesenko (Swap in Hayward for Korver as an equivalent)

This one was one of the worst, yet it was one that was used among the most:
Williams-Matthews-Kirilenko-Boozer-Okur
