What's new

Jazz are shopping Jefferson and Millsap according to ESPN

I would assume it would be one or the other. I just couldn't see them trading both players.

I can understand the idea of selling high. I can also understand the idea of moving one of these players. I can't see why the Jazz would move both, however. The Jazz must be fishing to see what they can get. Jefferson should be set to have a great year.

.

I hope it wouldn't be a purely fiscal move.

We are under the tax, so no, I don't think it would be a fiscal move. The only way I would see it happening is if we are getting another big man in return,. This makes me even more excited for the start of the season because it looks like the Jazz are looking to shake things up. Makes things interesting at least.

I think a lot of teams are starting up the chatter to make up for lost time. The Celtics are saying they'd consider a deal for Rondo, etc. Some posturing is going on. Teams like Boston and the Clippers are saying they'll pursue Howard. Chris Paul already says he wants to be a Knick.

Let the games begin.

Teams that need quality bigs:

- Warriors
- Pacers
- Bucks
- Nets
- Heat
- Rockets
- Magic
- Sixers
- Kings
- Celtics
- Bobcats

quite a few actually

I absolutely love Millsap, but Favors needs to be starting.

Trading Millsap > Benching Millsap

We have the chance to get someone pretty special, here.

That doesn't mean they aren't testing the waters. KOC wouldn't be doing his job if he wasn't looking around to see what's out there.

Exactly. And we all need to keep in mind that this is NOT necessarily going to be the same, safe franchise we're used to. We've been pretty aggressive since Miller and Sloan left the picture, so I wouldn't be surprised if that trend continues.

I'm looking around the league here and wondering what players that might be available would really help the Jazz... I'm having a hard time coming up with a deal that makes sense.
