Its sort of amazing how different the C's have to play defense against Jazz guards who can shoot vs how the Jazz have to play against Smart and Schroder. The Jazz just sag way off.

Turns out that shooting 70% from three in a quarter is a good way to build a sizable lead.
On the one hand the Jazz probably won't shoot 70% from three all game. On the other hand if they clean up the dumb turnovers they are making it will make up for any loss in shooting.
So Jazz won’t miss again for the night.

The Jazz starters are all basically 15-16 minutes played so far. The Celtics are 17-18 except for Rob who has only played 9 likely because Al was rolling.
The Jazz starters are so far winning the Starter vs Starter matchup with a +39, vs the Celtics starters who are -28. But the C's won the bench minutes.
I think this has been my favourite game to watch this season.
Again I'm biased with my weak spot for the Jazz but we've just seen cool stuff rom everyone, on both teams.
This is what NBA basketball should be like all the time.

I love how we're attacking. If only we played this aggressively every game.
We are so soft defensively. Every single possession almost they score at will.

Win or lose, they are neck-and-neck with the best offensive team in the NBA on the road on a night where they are absolutely shooting lights out without our 2nd best player. This should give some of the doubters a look into how good this team can be when we are dialed in on both ends.
Just insane that we are in this game with Utah shooting like they have been shooting.

Our offense hasn't looked this varied ever
Game stats are very close except the Jazz are shooting like crazy (19 vs 10 threes) and the c's are dominating the turnover battle (14-4).

Well this is a nice development - three Utah fouls in the first 90 seconds of the quarter.
what kills me is that I see them play so well in this game (except the first 6 minutes) and I keep asking why we don't see this every game right from the start.

To be honest, I think Schroeder hurts us as much as he helps us. Just AWUL defense on Mitchell that last possession overplaying, and combined with his bad turnovers these things hurt us just as much as his scoring.
I wonder if we would have been better with keeping Timelord on the floor instead of Al, as good as Al has been this game.

C's played tremendous defense tonight and gave up 137 points, amazing shooting from the Jazz.
Took 39 3s tonight, wow.. need an inside game but just don’t have a Center..
Yeah that first rainbow 50 foot three guy falling away , looked like a Hail Mary went though, I was lik3 please don’t let crap happen. And then there were a dozen more it seemed . Frankly when a team is shooting like that , we were playing great to stay with them.
Yeah, the Celtics won the turnover battle 20-6, shot over 50% from the floor, a respectable 36% from 3, and we’re perfect from the line. You win that game 9 times out of 10. But the Jazz couldn’t miss from 3, and we saw that on the first possession when Mitchell made a 30-footer at the shot clock buzzer when he was trapped on the sideline.
That was nasty by Mitchell. Yuck.
