I’m gonna be honest here... I’m primed to really overreact to how the jazz play during this road trip. None of the teams are a pushover. If the Jazz don’t elevate their defense, they could lose any one of these games. But if they pull themselves together on both sides of the ball, then every game is winnable.

I guess what I’m saying is that I feel like we’ll get a very good indication of where the team is at.... even though it’s just 4 games.

For context, they're playing the Cavs, Wolves, Sixers, and Wizards. I'm thinking 2-2, probably dropping the ones against the cavs and sixers

My gut says 1-3. I really don’t like the team’s focus and respect for possessions.
2-2 is my prediction and I think that is a solid B+. 1-3 is likely a C… 3-1 and I’ll be stoked. Not sure if KAT is in right now… that would be helpful.

I voted 2-2 this morning and I thought today's game would be one of the losses. I now think we can go 3-1.

You do realize an nba season is full of peaks and valleys? I always find it funny when someone says this stretch of games I’ll tell us what type of team we will be, fans and commentators a like. If we go 3-1 or 4-0 we are on a hot streak, 2-2 is par for the course and and anything less is called being cold. The only thing this measures is how the team is currently playing. The sad truth is our style isn’t playoff proven. We will most likely end the season a 1-3 seed and bow out in the first or second round unless major upsets happen around the jazz. But I’ll be damned if this is going to make or break the jazz this early into the season.

I guess you couldn’t read the part where I admitted to being primed to OVERREACT?

I have no idea why I click to un-hide your comments sometimes.

Ya it’s like wearing a mask but not wearing it over your nose
I’m pro mask, but I’m not going to get my whitey tidy‘s in a bunch if someone else doesn’t, but my god, if you’re going to wear a mask, why in god sakes would you not wear it over your nose. You may as well go without. That’s when my inner Karen comes out. Lol

Didn’t we get swept by the Wolves last year? I think we’ll want to remedy that.

Are Butler and Hughes with the Jazz on this trip? They were supposed to play with the Stars last night and didn't. Fitts was the only Jazzman that played.

I think we can go 3-1 or 4-0 now. Win tonight and I think Embiid will sit in Philly (if they are smart). They will be on their third game in four nights including an overtime game he played 40+ minutes in.
