What's new

5 years from now

Ok, Haywards assist numbers are high, I'll give ya that. But I think it's way to soon so say Kanter is or isn't anything. The kid is insanely driven and motivated from what I've seen, and the can go a VERY long way. And for Favors, maybe the PPG are a little high but I can see it potentially happening, I'm an optimist, it's my only flaw ;)

As far as Miami goes, imo, five years from now, Wade will be a shell of himself and possibly not even in the league. There's a lot of wear and tear on his body ad he's asking for a career ending injury or shortened career.

I think we can make a strong playoff run in 3 years. If we trade Jefferson and Harris for Rondo, Kristic (expiring contract), and O'Neal (expiring contract) then we get a great pass first point guard. We have Rondo, Burks, Hayward, Favors and Kanter as the future starting lineup. Not to mention, we could add Bradley Beal and Michael Gilchrist. Plus we have Millsap so all we have to do is add a veteran center.

PG: Rondo/Burks
SG: Burks/Beal/Hayward
SF: Gilchrist/Hayward/Millsap
PF: Favors/Millsap
C: Kanter/Veteran free agent

I know Kanter very well. I'm just saying he doesn't even believe in shot-blocking as much as he does denying his man access to the short shot. He uses his body and strength and knows that's his bread and butter over his athleticism. He knows when he leaves his feet his strength is greatly compromised .. he's old school.

By the way, what part of St. George you call home?

I agree with your assessment of what we have seen of Kanter, so far. But I am confident in a few short years of working with the coaching staff at this level that he will he able to adjust. He will add many more weapons to his arsenal. He's just so young, such little experience, can you really blame him? Of course this is all just my opinion, not a big fan of stats and hard truths.

Very well, I grew up in this area (26yrs now). I'm off sherman rd, just a couple blocks from there. I used to play in the mountains there as a kid before they bulldozed it to build your 2nd home ;)

What???? My driveway is so steep I squeel my tires when it's totally dry .. lol. This little 15 lot subdivision is anything but bulldozed .. except the road I guess. :)

Yah, I'm just messing, but i remember this area in the late 80's, early 90's, crazy how much it has changed since then.
