You tell Fish he can't know then make a bold prediction about what's going to happen before the trade deadline like you know **** that you don't and can't know. It was one of the funnier and least self-aware posts I've seen in a long time.

we don't know what player the FO is trying to trade because we lack inside knowledge, but from outsider standpoint everyone knows the Jazz FO is focused on getting this team closer towards contention, not rebuild. if you still don't get it i don't know what else to tell you.

yeah, right. So you do know the context matters, right? What if there's some injury concerns with Bogey, or FO thought he could not sustain that peak and would go downhill soon, or get along with teammates? We aren't running the jazz organization so we don't have the inside knowledge. To say that we absolutely should not be trading Bogey simply because he's playing some good basketball at the moment would be far too premature. And trust me, when a trade does occur before deadline, it'll be done specifically with purpose of getting us better and closer towards championship contention, not to collect as many draft picks as possible and start rebuild, that is the one thing we do know. Like Celtics didn't trade IT to get worse, they traded IT to acquire Kyrie who is a better player and NBA champ.

context matters. we are the number one seed that couldn't get out of the second round and as things stand, are set to lose that one seed status to GSW or Suns, as they are the teams to beat in the West. If we want to stand a chance against those two teams, we need to be looking at adjusting our roster.

i wonder if it's injuries preventing our players from playing defense on the perimeter, like what we saw from the last few games.

All i know is we were undefeated in the playoffs last year when healthy. And we got more defense this year than last year without giving up any offense. That seems like a good thing to me.

Swapping your 7th and 8th guy on the depth chart is not much of an adjustment, is it? Teams change their 7th/8th man every year. It's a general routine that every team does. Phoenix signed Mcgee. Bucks got Grayson. When talking about roster adjustment, it inevitably involves one of your top 6 guys.

well then there's no such thing as 100% healthy. Giannis was clearly playing through injuries in the Final and Devin Booker/Chris paul were dealing with injuries too. Not sure you've been watching those games cuz they were physical as hell. that's what great championship caliber players do. putting together great performances despite not being 100%. but sure, let your opponent soften their game a bit so your hammy can heal.

I’ve said it before, but considering Kawhi was out entirely, I really think DM and Conley being hurt is irrelevant. I don’t know why it’s used as an excuse so much. If the tables had been turned, and Rudy had been out but George and Batum were just hurt, and then we beat the Clips, we wouldn’t accept them complaining their two guys were hurt.

yep, that too. We are literally one of the league's healthiest team right now and any reasonable fans can tell that the team's not been playing championship caliber basketball even against teams that were down multiple starters. but yes, keeping using injuries as an excuse.
