Donovan Mitchell and Rudy Gobert tensions are rising

My issue with Donovan is that it seems like Rudy has tried to reach out and build a bridge but Donovan is out. Unless Rudy is hooking up with his old girlfriends I don't see any thing he has done as unforgiveable.

Where do you get that at all? When has Rudy reached out and Donovan didn't reach back? EVERY SINGLE QUOTE DONOVAN SAYS IS "WORKING TOGETHER TOWARDS A TITLE".

I hate all these lies man. Rudy hasn't done anything more than Donovan to bridge any gap.

THe thing is Joe isnt on this team next year.

Why would Joe come back to us? After a whole season of trade rumors. Personally I would say suck my dick, I'm going to a real contender.

Joe ain't leaving is the read I get. Go check out Tim McMahon's stuff on this. He should have a story out soon. Even if he gets traded he ain't moving. I think he stays on next year to rehab on a minimum deal and then the year after makes some sort of decision.

The clear message that Joe himself sent to McMahon... in Joe's words "I ain't ****ing dead and I ain't ****ing retiring" the cuss words aren't something I added... they were Joe's. I honestly love it and glad he wants to fight back... I thought maybe he'd ride into the sunset. Tim also indicated if he is traded he would still come back and he wouldn't want to move his family... he likes it here. Add in the stuff with them selling their Australian home and maybe he hangs out here longer. I sure hope so.

Donovan Mitchell is trash and a baby. If Gobert gets traded or Mitchell leaves the team, he's going to a worse situation and will do much worse. Gobert will thrive wherever he goes, probably more than he currently does playing on a team full of soft entitled babies.

During the covid stuff Rudy reached out to Donovan many times and was stone walled. That's some petty ****. It was only because Rudy basically demanded that they talk before team stuff happened that the organization helped make it happen.

When people **** up like Rudy did... you let them admit blame and talk it out. Just avoiding it is terrible. I'm going to guess that this isn't the only time this has happened. Donovan is awesome and we only know part of the story... but Donovan has the power to reach down and lift the guy up... defend him.

I will say this, I blame Ryan Smith way more than I blame Mitchell. Dude is an absolute pile of ****. All these *****ouse trades where we save 400K dollars? Ryan Smith is the one forcing management to do this ****.

Also... ****ing JZ didn't go to BYU... he's not the most charismatic guy... but he got **** done... just put some actual support behind him. JZ didn't even know Ainge.

Yes, because he has a boring basic game that is highly effective and they feel hurt that he can do all the small things and make a All-NBA/All-Star/DPOY/100's of Millions of $ career out of them.

Players still vote Melo as an All-Star. They are either stupid or extremely fraternalistic.

Rudy is also different... didn't hang in their AAU groups. His frenchmen love him... why the **** didn't we get some of them. Why not just keep Neto.

We don't know what Rudy did in the lockerroom, but it was bad. Other players said that Rudy did something in the lockerroom. We should admire Donovan for not airing that dirty laundry. If Donovan would have been the one to do something, Rudy probably would have told the media.

So not to draw too many parallels here... but my parents are divorced. I think both realized well after the fact that they ended up in worse situations than when they were together. My dad in MUCH worse situations. These guys may look back and say "holy **** what did we do?"

I think the front office caving to Donovan is an issue. I think its part of the reason Rudy spouted his stuff to the media rather than going man to man... guessing he's done that. He's still wrong for throwing gas on the fire.

Don needs to get over himself and just love the guy. I mean I have awkward dudes (and a sister in law) in my life that I learned to like and accept for their weirdness. I mean my sister in law was so tough to be around, but when I learned about her whole past I really understood who she was. I've learned to enjoy how cringey and awkward she is... I genuinely just dropped my pride when she says stuff that I feel are demeaning and just kinda laugh at her and call her on it. I actually like being around her where before I couldn't stand it at all.

Just grow the **** up and realize what's in front of you. I'd love Joe to sit down and just go at them... figure this **** out. If its stays "awkwardly passive aggressive" we going to move on and I fear we become the Donovan and friends mediocre team until he ultimately asks out.

They need to be sat down and forced to watch Kobe and Shaq's sit-down interview from a few years ago. Then Gail needs to hold a private screening of Brokeback Mountain for them at Jordan Commons.
