Wordle - no spoilers please

Since this thread started I have played three times. It seems really easy though. I am sure some harder words happen and I am sure sometimes there are enough options to guess that one would fail. But I am guessing everyone who plays gets them right 9/10 times. I could be wrong since I am new though.

Ive tried the geography one, that is harder on some less obvious country shapes.

Right, it should be timed.

Even just a stopwatch that times how fast you do it. People could post that to their social media instead of the number of guesses it took which is pretty much all luck based.

Trying to guess the word in less times takes different strategies as well. For example you might guess words you know are wrong in order to eliminate letters or try to find the right location for a letter.
 
Since this thread started, I’ve played it a handful of times. I have a lot of luck starting with rates (or a variation of it). I just thought of Wheel of Fortune and remembered they give you rstlne, so they must be common.
Overall, a pretty easy game.

I have guessed the wordle on the first try once. And a few times in 2 tries. Yeah nothing but luck that early on.

The problem is you can't use the "normal" starting words most people use. Those are just too common. You have to branch out and get a little weird to have a shot at it. I think the one I guessed was something like "jumpy" or something.
