I posted this in a thread earlier this morning, and I've been saying it for a while, but it deserves its own thread at this point because I could have posted it in a number of threads.
If I were the coaching and training staff looking down the barrel of this schedule and figuring out how to distribute minutes in the front court, my magic number would be 28 min/game +/-. That has traditionally been a good number for Millsap; given last season's foul rate, I wouldn't expect to get more from Favors on a nightly basis; etc.
If 28 min/game was the average for AJ, DF, and PM, then Millsap would only need to play SF 8 minutes a game for there to be 20 minutes to split between Memo and Kanter or dole out more to a player on-fire. I officially endorse giving every one of those to Kanter as long as he isn't sucking it up beyond expectations; I don't think he will.
8 min, y'all.
