What the hell is going on with will smith?

It's Jada taking herself way too seriously. Then Will taking himself way too seriously. This is a show of pure entitlement from the Hollywood Elite Royalty. Don't you know their Names are Holy? Keep their Names out ya ****ing mouth!
 
Apparently Will Smith believes battery is a reasonable response to a joke. Good thing he's Hollywood Royalty. Any of us common folks would get arrested for that ****.
 
That slap was several inches from making contact. Why they did something so stupid is what I'm wondering.

Slow it way down. If they were several inches away their timing is unbelievably perfect, as was the sound effect on live TV. No, he hit him. Now, it could still have been staged but he made contact.

Yeah looks like he hit him but in a half-hearted way. Rock's head jerked a little late like they planned it. But then Will's outburst makes it seem real. Alcohol does funny things.
 
Not staged, Smith broke down on National TV after winning the award for best actor trying to explain how life imitates art (the comparison between Richard Williams battle for respect for his family and his own). Chris Rock had it coming after making that vicious comment about Jada starring in GI Jane II. Her hair is like that because she is going bald from an autoimmune disorder.

Nobody has physical assault coming due to a joke. If it's in bad taste let it fall flat, and if it's bad enough just tell the academy not to invite Rock to host again. This idea that we are cavemen protecting our women is ridiculous.

The joke was in bad taste. Assault has a higher standard in my mind than a slap to the face.
