Interesting in what way? Utahs bill is no where near the same thing as NC’s bill was and I also oppose what the legislature did. I don’t remember who reported it(it was on radio) but they mentioned the league has began to want to take a step away from engaging so heavily in political issues as well.

That’d be pretty smart since they are in bed with genocidal slave traders and communists. I don’t understand how the NBA or anyone with a brain would see them as any sort of moral beacon.

So if you’re scratching your head right now this has to do with the recent LBGQT legislation in Utah and the recent cancellation of the event in Charlotte for much the same reason. The Jazz/Grizz game was the GAME OF THE DAY on NBA channel yesterday and interrupted for this News Conference. Some journalist had his panties in a bunch over Silver and the League’s lack of punitive action in the case of the Jazz. Adam Silver’s response to two questions from the same person were thoughtful and articulate and had to do with the NBA’s policy of inclusion for all on the one hand and his opinion that nothing the league did would effect a different outcome. He referenced Ryan Smith and the excellent ownership team in place three or four times.
