Sad story. The news didn't identify the player, but the woman is 38 and from Mississippi. I'm not sure whether it's appropriate to even discuss publicly, but here it is.

What?

At the end of Utah's local news a bit ago, they said a woman was booked into SL County jail on domestic abuse charges and that she's the girlfriend of a current Jazz player. It was a breaking story.

Eh, I'll give it a bit but I haven't seen anything on it yet. I do find it odd that any Jazz player would have a 38 year old girlfriend, but hey, stranger things have happened.
