Don is a #1/#2. We gotta find the other "star" and that guy needs to be more defensively focused.

I think Collins just wants chances. With Trae, it's all about him and a system for him.

Trade Rudy to a team desperate to be relevant - Charlotte, Chicago, Atlanta, Sacramento, etc. They will give us something we can work with. Also see if we can get any youth for Conley and or Bojan.

Evaluate the roster and maybe look to trade Don at the deadline or next offseason if things still look grim. He won't lose value by that time but we know that Rudy will.

Ummmm GS plays Looney and Dray and neither spreads the floor. Bam doesn’t spread the floor either… Williams is still an important player… Dallas is playing Powell a bit as well.

You’re delusional. Trae is a better passer for one. And two, you think Donovan is good enough to be a “#1/#2”? He’s not good enough but he might be both a #1 and #2.

Comparing Draymond to Rudy? The same Draymond that can run offense, pass, dribble and defend the perimeter?

Bam isn't the same type athlete as Rudy because Bam can put the ball on the floor.

I didn’t compare them at all… you said no one is playing rim protecting centers that don’t stretch the floor and they literally all are bare minimum of 15-20 minutes. GS has no stretch 5 since Draymond became allergic to shooting. Not having Williams likely cost Boston the game yesterday as Bam went nuts on them.

5 out is not the end all be all… it’s something nice to have the optionality so long as you can still protect the rim.

If a player isn’t meeting his potential it’s because of a system and another player they play with.

Draymond and Bam aren't rim protectors. They are big, versatile defenders who have the ability to do things with the ball in their hands.

My point, and you know this, is that we shouldn't build around a rim protecting center. A rim protector is fine to use some but not always.

You don’t think Draymond and Bam are rim protectors? They guard on the perimeter too but they definitely are rim protectors.
 
And Looney is playing like 30 minutes a night for the warriors and is not a strep 5 at all.
