I don't necessarily disagree about keeping them both, but I also don't think trading this combination is going to net us a return that moves the needle at all.

They’re our only players outside of Donovan and Rudy of real value that can get players who will make a difference. Clarkson potentially could as well.

I just don't think anyone outside of Don and Rudy has great trade value. The front office would probably prefer to keep both Donovan and Rudy but I think they may end up having to trade Rudy because they won't be able to get a good enough return for Bogey, Mike, Royce and JC to really improve the roster.

All those dudes got trade value, it's just not for starter level 2-way defensive wings like everyone wants.

Just looking at the official Screen Assist stats, they've only been tracking that for 6 years. Rudy has lead the league 3 of those 6 times, and come in 2nd 3 time. That's beyond insane.
 
Literally the only player it wouldn't be insane but questionable to do would be Smart, and *for Boston's roster* I'd take Smart. He's a better play maker and DPOY.
 
I do not agree with the value of our team. Mike, Bogey, Clarkson have value and if we trade smart, we may have a very good team this year.

Yall say that Rudy is an amazing screen setter and Donovan should be so grateful for those screens.

I know screening is important, but I also think Donovan does a lot without screens. Regardless, he doesn't need Rudy to set his screens. Literally anybody can.

Just watch our elimination game 6. Literally one time does he do anything because of a Rudy screen. House and Royce do more.
