WHO'S READY FOR ANOTHER 1ST ROUND BLOWOUT?

Nah, more like play-in disappointment cuz Clippers ain't missing the playoffs this year. Guess whose playoffs spot they gonna be taking

At this rate if the Jazz are going to run it back I'd rather see them be absolutely terrible and end up with a top 10 pick. If we're gonna see a train wreck unfold I want to see some big *** explosions. Give me players wont talk to each other, have fights in the locker room, Ryan struggling to get his 2 show ponies to play nice so he can parade them around at All Star weekend. Just go full blown drama show. That will be more entertaining than just simply running it back and going through to motions just to lose in the first round again.

It all depends on how good Mitchell/Gobert are. If they both come out super motivated to make it work and arent babies, the Jazz will be a playoff team.

Before COVID plagued us we were a top 3 team in the West. I'm confident we can get back to winning ways. Free Agency hasn't even started yet, and everyone's freaking out. Relax.

Once Gobert is gone, regardless of what you get in return this squad cannot make the playoffs because of how bad they are defensively.

I agree. And there is still plenty of time to makes moves around the fringes of this team. I also imagine Danny will keep trying to dump Rudy.

I kind of hope the one All Star we have is Gobert, the one they were rumored to have shopped heavily to get rid of. Would be a nice egg in the face moment. An epic backhanded compliment.

Honest answer? That's good. It just means a better draft position.
I want a full merciless rebuild but I think they will keep Mitchell this season.
That's fine, he was 10th Jazz player last regular season on net rating. He's not John Lucas III but can still make a good tank commander.
Just don't forget to ship him for picks/young prospects once his trade value has peaked.

The reality is we are an aging team without any young prospects or draft picks. We are also over the cap and can't make a significant signing. We are not a destination where players are going to come for below market value, or force their way here. There really isn't a likely path forward to being better. Any trade we make is most likely going to be a net neutral/net negative trade.

We've known this for awhile and is the reason there is a large number of posters here saying to blow it up.

There are some ways that we can get better without a major overhaul, but those scenarios aren't very likely to either happen or make a big difference:

- coaching change
- buy low candidates
- Don commits to defense
- Rudy develops an outside shot
