Trade Rumors Involving the Jazz

Slow day.

With uncertainty swirling around the Brooklyn Nets, Ben Simmons is going off the grid. The Nets guard has deactivated his Instagram account:

The move comes after teammate Kevin Durant requested a trade, while Kyrie Irving is also the subject of trade rumors in a possible move to the Los Angeles Lakers, per Chris Haynes of Yahoo Sports.

What is the best option from here? I’d rather grab Ayton and keep Mitchell. Then use some picks to grab some other players. I’m not looking forward to a rebuild. That **** sucks so bad.
Believe it or not we are already in rebuild. Mitchell is very likely going to be gone by next year. The only question is how and when we start and whether we are forced into it or choose our best path into it.

But is he massively undervalued? We don't even know what the price is yet.

That’s true but if all it takes is an expiring contract and two picks that’s nothing compared to what Gobert got. Yes, Gobert is the better player but if we were told we got all those players and just two less picks but Ayton was involved we all would still be over the moon.

Right now we are in a retool. If we trade Mitchell we are rebuilding. It hasn’t happened yet though it definitely could.

Gotta wait for KD to be traded first then sell Don to the highest bidder.

Gobert WAS THE REASON Kanter got benched and traded.
Agreed. Gobert was/is awesome.
Though that wasn't the only reason. I mean gobert hasn't been playing on the same team as kanter for a while yet i haven't seen kanter on any all star teams or even close so part of the equation is that kanter isn't very good. Possibly having something to do with defense

IF it's bogey and a first then he is undervalued. And if that's the price then the jazz should pounce.

When did I say that? Gobert was the reason we traded Kanter.

Now please show me all of these 20/10 guys who didn’t affect winning.
You said it in this thread, but I cannot find it now. I don't know if you deleted it or what... Is this the good faith argumentation you aspire to? Are you going to deny you posted that? It's OK to make a mistake, what you are doing here is much worse than mixing up a year or two of Jazz basketball.

Al Jefferson. Not done with ex-Jazz players yet...

Jefferson never averaged 20/10 for us though he was close. Do you not remember him leading us to the playoffs?
