I've been out of the country for the last 8 days. Could I get some updates from the week please. News from training camp, line ups, that kind of thing.
 
Defense will now force baseline. Millsap and Jefferson out of open scrimmage with sore quad and hamstring. No word on rotations- on that Corbin is having a open competition for each spot. Burks has been surprising the vets with is passing. That is about it.

We're now a team of druggies and malcontents. Religious and civic leaders have been advising women and children to stay indoors. Apparently, we have no SF's or true centers on the roster. But at least, mercifully, the AK era has come to an end. Oh yeah...still no headbands allowed.

In general NBA news, Stern and Jackson rigged the amnesty claim system to ensure Billups went to the Clippers, then strong-armed them into giving up way too much for CP3. When asked about the apparent conflict of interest, David Stern said something about not wanting to get into all the gory details of "how the sausage was made." League will now be able to sell the New Orleans team for a tidy sum. Clippers will be rewarded with something under the table when Paul walks across the arena to the Lakers locker room in 2 years to join Superman and the Black Mamba. In short, the lockout resolved absolutely nothing.

So I'm sitting in atlanta airport posting from my phone. I'm just starved of information and I know there is a lot of it out there and don't want to have to dig through the empty calories. I want to hear the good stuff.

No hints on lineups at all? Any substantial rumors floating around for the jazz? Were there any trades that didnt involve the names howard or paul? What about free agents on other team? Any surprising signings by other teams?
